About Waytrace
Built for the work before the click.
Waytrace helps marketers create the tracking foundation every campaign depends on: consistent UTM links, branded short URLs, QR codes, and campaign history that can be trusted later.
Why Waytrace exists
Most marketing tools start too late.
Analytics platforms are good at showing what happened after someone reaches your site.
But by then, the foundation has already been built or missed.
If campaign links are inconsistent, reports become harder to trust. Traffic gets split across naming variations. QR codes live in one system, short links in another, and UTM links get rebuilt in spreadsheets, notes, or old campaign docs.
Waytrace exists to bring that work into one thoughtful place.
A place to build, save, shorten, organize, and reference the links every campaign depends on.
Who it’s for
Small inconsistencies become bigger questions later.
A campaign link can seem like a small detail. But those details decide whether your reporting is clean or confusing.
Was it email, Email, or newsletter?
Was the QR code tied to the same campaign as the landing page?
Which short link went on the printed card?
Who created this link, and where was it used?
Waytrace helps answer those questions before they become reporting problems.
The Waytrace approach
Build the foundation once. Keep building from it.
Waytrace helps marketers create a consistent tracking foundation for their campaigns. That means:
Clear UTM structure
Saved source, medium, and campaign values
Branded short links
QR codes connected to campaign context
Searchable link history
Workspaces for clients, teams, brands, or campaigns
A guided foundation setup that keeps future links more consistent
Waytrace does not try to replace a marketer’s judgment.
It gives that judgment a better system to work in.
What we believe
We believe good marketing is thoughtful.
We believe thoughtful marketing deserves thoughtful tools.
We believe campaign tracking should be simple without being careless.
We believe software should guide, not dictate.
We believe consistency creates clarity.
We believe the strongest foundations are often invisible.
And we believe growth starts before the click.
Product philosophy
Built to become part of the work.
Waytrace is not trying to be the loudest tool in your stack.
The goal is quieter than that.
It should become the place where campaign links begin. The place your team trusts when they need to build a link, reuse a naming convention, generate a QR code, or understand what was created before.
Not because the software demands attention.
Because it earns trust by doing the small things carefully.
A note from the founder
Waytrace started from a simple frustration: campaign tracking was too important to keep rebuilding from scratch.
As marketers, we spend real time planning campaigns, choosing channels, writing emails, launching ads, printing materials, and reviewing performance. But the links connecting all of that work are often created quickly, inconsistently, or across too many separate tools.
I wanted a better foundation.
Not a bloated analytics platform.
Not another spreadsheet.
Not a QR code tool pretending to be a campaign system.
Just a careful place to build and manage the links that marketing depends on.
Waytrace is built for marketers who care about doing the work well.
